Who's Tap Tapping

I heard a noise outside my window and when I pulled aside the curtains this is who was hanging around.

Hmmm, he was looking in the direction of that orange. Maybe he got a whiff.

Here's what he was busy doing when I heard the ruckus. (don't forget to click twice if the video is not there, once on the white box and then on the video)

Thanks for visiting my blog today.

    1. Well Sadami that is a lovely thought. I bet visiting Australia would be amazing however I'd never make the 11 hr. flight. I've been in an airplane for 5 hrs. recently and it was way too long to be in that confined space.
I thought I did well for someone with a fear of enclosed spaces. Thanks for visiting my blog. Enjoy your day!

  3. Hello from Idaho found your blog by the way of low carb...One morning a woodpeck was tapping on a electrial tranformer.

    1. Nice to make your acquaintance, Dora! He sure was taking a risk wasn't he. I bet it was quite the noise too. We have metal roofs here in Maine and we often have them tapping on them. I read that their territory reaches as far as their tapping can be heard. When one is tapping on the metal roofing it sounds like someone firing a machine gun. Thanks for visiting me today. I wish you a wonderful day.

    1. Thanks Carol, we've lost 2 birch trees since moving here and I dread losing this one. Fortunately the arborist says it's in good shape right now. Have a great weekend.
