Spruced-up Yard Sale Finds for my Garden

Things didn't go the way we planned Saturday morning so we added in hitting a couple of yard sales.  I found these three garden statues that were in desperate need of some loving care and for only $1.00 each was quick to grab them up and take them home.

Here's what I've done with them -

The little rabbit had a white flower and faded eyes and little nose so after Mike scrubbed them down to remove the dust and grime I gave the rabbit a nice pink flower and some new black eyes and nose.

The frog hadn't been painted at all so I opted for giving him a nice sunflower and some green eyes as well as adding a bit of color to some of the little flowers along the base.

Last but not least, the first one I had to have was this little bird bath.  Horrid yellow and red paint!  Oh no, this mushroom needed some help fast and now has a lovely bluebird of happiness adorning it's edge.

A fun little project to tackle.

Wishing you a wonderful new week.  Thanks for visiting with me today.

Definitely an improvement all round.....I think I like the rabbit best but it would be pretty hard to choose just one...especically at $1 apiece..

Hello,

Your makeovers are wonderful. I like the paint colors you chose too. The flowers are pretty and the bunny, frog and bird are so cute! Well done! Wishing you a happy day and a great new week!
